School Nurse (RN), Monterey CA

Calling on RNs based in the area of Monterey, CA! Soliant is working with a school entity in the area that is seeking a School Nurse for the remainder of the school year and next school year as well!

As a School Nurse, applicants will: 

• Immunize students in accordance with California code
• Assess and evaluate the health and developmental status of students
• Interpret the health and developmental assessment to parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals 
• Design and implement individual student health maintenance plans, incorporating plans directed by a physician
• Interpret medical and nursing findings appropriate to the student’s individualized education program
• Counsel and assist pupils and parents in health-related and school adjustment services

Additional details below:

• Full-time
• Start: ASAP
• End: end of school year, with the option to renew for the next school year
• School assignments to be determined

Requirements:

• Active California RN license
• School Nurse credential, issued by the CA Commission for Teacher Credentialing
