School nursing position for an RN near Gresham, OR
We at ProCare are working with a school district in need of a Registered Nurse at one of their schools in the Gresham area. The school is looking for someone to join them for the 24/25 school year in a full-time position. This will involve working 1:1 with a medically fragile high school aged student. Work with us and make a huge difference in the life of this wonderful student!
Here are some of the job details:
Registered Nurse
24/25 school year - 30+ hrs/wk
1:1 duties - student has severe anxiety and seizure disorder
Nursing license must be up to date in the state of Oregon
MUST be able to pass a drug and background screening
Pay typically depends on licensure and prior caseload experience but typically land in the range of $35-45 per/hr
Typical daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
Communicate with patients to evaluate, diagnose, and provide specialized nursing assistance to student
Will accompany the student throughout their whole day including between classes
A successful candidate will have previous experience with High school aged students or be willing to learn
