Blazer Jobs is excited to partner with a school district near Racine, WI, to recruit a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential nursing care and support to students in a school setting.

Position Overview:

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Health Care: Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and address minor injuries or illnesses as needed for students.
  • Health Assessments: Conduct health screenings and assessments to monitor and maintain students’ well-being.
  • Emergency Response: Provide first aid and CPR, and respond effectively to medical emergencies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health care plans and ensure clear communication about students' health needs.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including documentation of treatments, medications, and health status updates.
  • Health Education: Offer guidance to students and staff on health practices, wellness, and safety procedures.

    Qualifications:

  • Licensure and Certifications: Must possess a valid LPN license in Wisconsin. (Ensure compliance with Wisconsin’s specific licensure requirements.)
  • Experience: Experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is preferred. Knowledge of school health protocols and emergency procedures is beneficial.
