Location: Hummelstown, Pennsylvania
Job Title: School Registered Nurse (RN)
This position is full time, Monday through Friday. The bus pick up is at 7:15am and drop off is 2:45pm
Responsibilities:
Provide support to a medically fragile student in high school. The student requires a Nurse to ride the bus with them and direct care at school. The student has cerebral palsy, diabetes mellitus, seizure disorders, and G-tube. Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Blood Sugar Monitoring
2. Insulin Administration
3. Monitoring of airway
4. G-tube care/feeding
5. Positioning/some assistance with lifting
6. Seizure monitoring - including emergency medication administration/call ambulance
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
