Blazer Jobs is actively partnering with a school district in Tukwila, WA to fill a full-time, onsite Registered Nurse (RN) position starting ASAP through June 17, 2025, with strong potential for renewal for the 2025–2026 school year (dates TBD). Position Details:
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 17, 2025 (with renewal based on performance and district needs)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: K–12 (specifics in development)
Pay Range: $44–$49/hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect nursing care to students.
Administer medications and manage chronic health conditions.
Monitor and respond to health emergencies in the school setting.
Collaborate with staff and parents to develop and implement Individualized Health Plans (IHPs).
Maintain health records and documentation in compliance with district and state policies.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to health-related accommodations for students.
Promote a safe and healthy school environment through education and advocacy.
State Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification through OSPI (or willingness to obtain).
Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.
Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered.
