School Registered Nurse

Soliant has an opening for a contracted School Registered Nurse in Alexandria, Virginia area. This position is for the 2022-2023 extended school year and 2023-2024 School Year. Soliant offers Weekly Pay, Guaranteed hours, and an exceptional Health Benefits & 401k package.

Job Details:
Full-time
Onsite: Itinerant position (will be working within an office, not 1:1)
Primary duties include:
Administer student medications and maintain accurate medical and medication records; Obtain and maintain required DCPS health forms such as immunization records, physical and dental exams, etc; Perform and document intake interviews with new and potential students; Evaluate and create emergency care plans as needed for students with health concerns; Obtain signed doctor s order for medication and/or contact doctors regarding student medications or other concerns as needed; Training teachers and classroom staff in the proper administration of medications and in medical procedures such as suctioning, tube feeding (NG or G tubes), and administering medications through tubes, etc.

Qualifications:
Must have Active RN license- Can take an RN with an associate's degree or BSN
