School RN Position Now Available

Blazer Jobs has partnered with a school district in Roseville, MN, to source a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be focused on providing exceptional healthcare services to our student population, ensuring their safety, well-being, and facilitating an optimal learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer routine medications and emergency medications as required.
• Develop and implement student health care plans.
• Monitor and assist children with chronic health conditions.
• Provide first aid care and determine when further medical attention is necessary.
• Act as a liaison between school staff, family, and medical providers.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students.
• Provide training to school staff on medical procedures as needed.
• Participate in the development of district health policies and protocols.
• Stay updated with current public health issues and relevant school health research.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Minnesota.
• Pediatric or school health experience is advantageous.
• Strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of school-based health concerns.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health records.
