Job Title: Full-Time School Registered Nurse

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school's healthcare team as a Full-Time School Registered Nurse near Omaha, NE. As the School RN, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors. You will provide direct healthcare services, manage medical emergencies, and collaborate with other members of the school community to create a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate the healthcare needs of students, staff, and visitors on a regular basis
• Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing first aid as needed
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic illnesses or medical conditions
• Conduct health screenings, immunization assessments, and maintain accurate health records
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to promote health education and implement wellness programs
• Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including disease prevention, hygiene, and nutrition
• Caseload: Kindergarten

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state board
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
• CPR and first aid certification
• Prior experience in pediatric or school nursing is highly desirable
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to school health services
