Surgical/Scrub Technologist

Location: Yuma, CO
Shift: Day shifts (No nights, no call, no holidays)

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical/Scrub Technologist to join our surgical team in Yuma, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and sterile environment for the surgical patient according to AORN guidelines. Ideal candidates will have experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Endoscopy, and Podiatry.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the operating room is set up in accordance with AORN guidelines and maintains a sterile environment throughout procedures.

Assist surgeons by passing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.

Clean and decontaminate surgical areas and tools before, during, and after surgeries.

Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficiency during procedures.

Follow protocols for infection control and sterile processing.

Qualifications:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.

Experience in Ortho, General Surgery, ENT, Endo, and Podiatry (preferred but not required).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to patient safety and adherence to surgical best practices.

Schedule:

Day shifts only.

No nights, no call, and no holidays.

These are not 12-hour shifts.
