Certified Surgical Tech (CST) – 13-Week Contract
Location: Syracuse, NY

Position Details:

Shift: Evening position, with options for straight 8-hour shifts or a mix of 8s and 12s (80 hours biweekly).

Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years of recent OR experience (within the last 4 years) in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center or equivalent teaching hospital.

Case Types: Ortho, general, ENT, vascular, and GYN cases.

Certification: Must be certified.

Qualifications:

Scrub experience is required.

Must have acute care operating room experience in general surgery and specialty areas such as neurosurgery, trauma, vascular, bariatrics, ENT, GU, and GYN.

First Assist is not permitted in New York State.

Experience in facilities of similar size and acuity is essential.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Must not have any prior license or certification suspensions or investigations.

First-time travelers will be considered with appropriate experience.

Pre-employment health clearance required.
