? Position Summary

In this role, you'll be the go-to medical professional on campus, managing day-to-day health needs, responding to emergencies, and fostering a healthy school environment. If you're passionate about youth health and enjoy steady, weekday hours, this is the job for you.

? Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily care for minor injuries, illness, and health concerns

  • Dispense medications and document dosage per medical plans

  • Support students with chronic health needs (asthma, diabetes, seizures, etc.)

  • Collaborate with families and doctors to create Individual Health Plans (IHPs)

  • Maintain confidential student health records per Florida state guidelines

  • Promote hygiene, wellness, and public health practices on campus

  • Participate in school safety and emergency preparedness procedures

    ? Requirements

    Must Have:

  • Active LPN license in Florida

  • Current CPR/BLS certification

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a school setting

    Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or community health

  • Familiarity with IHPs, 504 Plans, and IEP accommodations
