Assignment Details:

• 231 beds
• 42 unit beds
• no trauma designation
• Teaching hospital
• Patient types: Medical-Surgical, Telemetry (NSTEMI, dysrhythmias), Observation, Post cardiac cath (radial and femoral), appendectomies, colectomies, CHF, PNA, Sepsis, Abdominal pain, COVID
• EPIC charting system
• Floating: To other MSU/Tele floors, travelers first
• Scrub Color: Navy

Education and Certification Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Skills required: Read/interpret strips, chest tubes, cardiac drips (non-titrating – amiodarone, cardizem), MSU skillset, wound care, IV Starts
• Must have an IL license
