Trach experienced LPN needed

Provide direct nursing care for students with tracheostomies, including suctioning, routine monitoring, and emergency interventions when necessary.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by a physician.

Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with trach tubes and other medical conditions.

Monitor students’ health and vital signs, responding to any changes in condition.

Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure students’ health needs are met throughout the school day.

Educate school staff and students on medical procedures and protocols, particularly regarding trach care and emergency responses.

Maintain accurate, confidential health records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.

Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary.

Requirements:

Active LPN license in Georgia.

At least 2 years of experience as an LPN, with a minimum of 1 year of experience with trach care.

Experience working in a school setting is preferred, but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals.

Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to students with medical needs.
