Location: Greensboro, NC

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour

Position Overview:

As a Registered Nurse in our Orthopedic Specialty unit, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, planning, and delivery of exceptional patient care. You will have the opportunity to work closely with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure our patients receive the highest quality care throughout their recovery journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care to orthopedic patients, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and rehabilitation exercises.
  • Assist with orthopedic procedures and surgeries as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on orthopedic care.
  • BLS certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
