Position: Sterile Processing Technician

Location: Rochester, NY

I am seeking a skilled and experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our team in Rochester, NY. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment, as well as maintaining inventory and supplies.

Contract Specifics:

• 13 weeks
• 8 hours days
• Extensions based on performance
• Travel friendly facility

Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment
• Assemble and wrap instrument sets and trays
• Operate sterilization equipment and perform quality control tests
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and sterilization processes
• Communicate with healthcare providers regarding instrument availability and processing status
