Job Title: Traveling CVOR RNFA

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Shift: Day Shift, 10-hour shifts

Position Summary: As a Traveling CVOR RNFA, you will play a crucial role in our surgical team, assisting in cardiovascular surgical procedures and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. Your experience as a travel nurse will be an asset as you adapt to new environments and contribute to the success of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and execution of cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Provide direct patient care and ensure their safety throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile field and ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons and other team members.
• Participate in patient education and post-operative care as needed.
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) certification.
• Current Tennessee RN license or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR RNFA experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a must.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and work as part of a diverse surgical team.
