Travel Emergency Room Nurse Job

Sunbelt is now interviewing Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment in Washington, DC. Must have two years experience in the field. Please have updated resume and two professional references ready.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

   • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
   • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in DC.

2. Certifications:

   • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
   • Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are highly desirable.

3. Experience:

   • Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing or a related field.

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Triage and Assessment:

   • Conduct rapid and accurate assessments of patients presenting to the emergency room.
   • Prioritize patient care based on the severity of conditions and provide timely interventions.

2. Emergency Care Delivery:

   • Administer emergency medical care, including but not limited to medication administration, wound care, and life-saving interventions.
   • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

3. Emergency Procedures:

   • Perform and assist with emergency procedures, such as intubation, CPR, and defibrillation.
   • Respond to and manage medical emergencies with efficiency and composure.
