Travel Neonatal Nurse Job

Sunbelt is looking for a Neonatal Nurse for a travel position in Show Low, Arizona. If you are interested in this position, apply today! Travel assignments are 13 weeks in length with a possibility to extend.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Current RN license and certification as a Neonatal Nurse (NNC/NRP).
• Previous experience in neonatal nursing is preferred.
• 2 years experience in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:

   • Provide direct nursing care to neonates in accordance with established protocols and standards.
   • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform specialized procedures as needed.

2. Family Support:

   • Educate and support families in understanding the unique needs of their newborns.
   • Foster a compassionate and nurturing environment for families facing the challenges of neonatal care.

3. Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
   • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and address care concerns.

4. Assessment and Monitoring:

   • Conduct thorough assessments of neonates, identifying any changes in their condition and responding promptly to emergencies.
   • Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs and assess the effectiveness of interventions.
