Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Neuro Med Surg RN to join our team in Urbana, Illinois! This exciting 13-week contract offers the chance to utilize your expertise in a progressive healthcare setting, while exploring a vibrant university town steeped in history and culture.

Job Description:

  • Provide exceptional care to patients with neurological conditions, including pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative support.
  • Assess patient needs, manage complex medical conditions, and administer medications.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families about neurological conditions, procedures, and recovery expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

    Qualifications:

  • Active IL RN license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in neurology, medical-surgical nursing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of neurological anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
