Schedule / Hours:

  • 10-hour shifts
  • 4 shifts per week
  • Minimum of four call shifts per month
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room and sterile field, ensuring all surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions are set up and ready.
  • Assist intraoperatively by passing instruments, fluids, and supplies; operate and manage advanced surgical technology including da Vinci robot systems.
  • Safeguard the sterile field, manage surgical specimens, and accurately track sponges and supplies.
  • Play a vital role in patient safety and team collaboration to ensure efficient and successful operative outcomes.
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience, including prior travel assignment experience.
  • Expertise in total joint replacement, orthospine, and robotic-assisted surgery.
  • National CST certification via a CAAHEP-accredited (or equivalent) program.
  • Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and excellence in perioperative care.
  • Local candidates are not eligible for this assignment.
