Working in a dynamic MedSurg/Tele environment with an average census of 20, you’ll collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals and encounter a broad range of patient conditions, from stroke and chest pain to GI bleeds and cardiac issues. Exposure to advanced technology such as Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing systems ensures development of transferable skills critical to career advancement.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Schedule subject to regional needs (travel within region required, with paid time for inter-facility shifts)
  • Departmental orientation: NEO and 2-day departmental onboarding
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and at least 18 months Med/Tele experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Proficiency with stroke management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tube care, trach and NGT management, PCA pumps, and administration of drips and blood products
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive MedSurg/Tele care for patients with varied diagnoses
  • Float within the assigned region as needed, adapting seamlessly to diverse clinical settings
  • Coordinate with support staff including CNAs, phlebotomists, and hospitalists
  • Utilize current technology for patient monitoring and medication management
  • Contribute to a positive, team-based unit culture
