Travel RN - Cardiac Stepdown Contract - NIGHTS - Columbus, OH

Position: Registered Nurse

Unit: Cardiac Stepdown

Location: Columbus, OH

There is a Level I Trauma facility in Columbus, OH actively interviewing for an experienced Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN). This is a 12 week assignment with the possibility of extending. Assignment Details:

• 12 weeks
• 7P - 7:30A
• Possible extension based on performance
• EPIC Electronic Charting
• 24 bed unit
• 1:3-4 Nurse to Patient Ratio
• Magnet Hospital
• Level II Trauma Center
• No ventilated patients
• Post-Open Heart patients & IMC overflow patients

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate Degree or higher from an accredited nursing
• Active BLS/ACLS Certifications
• Active OH RN License

Required for Interview:

• Current Professional Resume
• Clinical References
• 2 recent years of experience on the unit

Job Duties

• Safely administer medication
• Monitor and record patient vitals
• Communicate needs with MD
• Recognize signs of distress or discomfort
