A Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is needed for a contract position in North Adams, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a smaller community hospital setting with opportunities for diverse case exposure and collaboration with a close-knit team.

As a CST, you will support the surgical team by ensuring the sterile field is maintained, assisting with instrumentation, and providing expert support for endoscopy procedures.

Submission Requirements

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent CST experience is required.
  • Must have endoscopy experience, as the CST will assist in endoscopy procedures multiple times per week (non-negotiable).

  • Certification:

  • NBSTSA certification is required. Equivalent certifications such as NCCT are not accepted.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.

  • Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must be willing to take call—those who decline call will not be considered.
  • Candidates must float to Berkshire Medical Center (approximately 21 miles away) when needed.
  • Reliable personal transportation is required, as the area lacks public transportation.
  • Submission profiles must include at least two specific interview availability dates and times; generic availability such as “anytime” will not be accepted.

    Profile Requirements

    To ensure consideration, candidates must provide:

  • Detailed work history.
  • A current skills checklist (relevant to the position, dated within the past year).
  • One supervisory reference signed within the past two years.
  • NBSTSA certification, BLS certification, and proof of endoscopy experience. Facility will not pend licenses or certifications.
