Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Vascular Access Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Ithaca, NY. Requirements:

Active New York state RN license

Minimum of 1 year of med/surg nursing experience

Minimum of 1 year of vascular access experience, including PICC, Midline, and Ultrasound-Guided IV insertion

BLS certification required

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Proficiency with VAT (Vascular Access Team) consults

Ability to assess the need for IV products and procedures

Experience reviewing patient charts and conducting patient interviews

Strong clinical support and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

Insert PICCs, Midlines, and Ultrasound-Guided IVs for patients with difficult IV access

Provide clinical support to providers, clinical staff, and patients

Collaborate with health team members to coordinate and implement procedures

Conduct patient assessments and interviews to determine vascular access needs

Support patient care through review of medical charts and clinical planning
