Put your expertise as an LPN to meaningful use by supporting the health and well-being of a preschool student in Langhorne, PA. This contract role offers the unique opportunity to make a difference, providing individualized care within an educational setting on a school-year schedule. You’ll work one-on-one with a student requiring PRN suctioning, tube feeding, seizure monitoring, and bus transportation assistance. Begin and end each school day by meeting the student at their home, accompanying them safely to and from the Lower Southampton Early Learning Center.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid state licensure as an LPN or RN (required)
  • At least one completed reference from a medical supervisor
  • Demonstrated competency and comfort working with vents, g-tubes, and trachs
  • Relevant experience supporting pediatric or school-based patients preferred
  • Ability to provide calm, attentive support during seizures and medical episodes
  • Professionalism and reliability for consistent school-year attendance
  • Position Responsibilities:

  • Meet student at home and accompany on school bus to and from school
  • Deliver individualized nursing care, including suctioning, feeding via g-tube, seizure precautions, and other medical tasks as needed
  • Proactively communicate with school staff, family, and other care team members
  • Monitor student’s medical status and respond to health needs throughout the school day
  • Support student integration and participation within the classroom environment while ensuring safety at all times
  • Enjoy set hours Monday through Friday (9:00AM - 3:00PM), following the school’s calendar for work-life balance in an engaging, child-focused setting.
