A skilled Certified Nursing Assistant is needed to provide dedicated support for a medically fragile student in a school setting. This is a contract role spanning the academic year, requiring compassionate care and professional expertise in supporting daily hygiene and feeding needs. The assignment takes place Monday through Friday, from 7:15 AM to 2:30 PM, and does not involve bus riding responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
  • Previous CNA experience, especially with 1:1 care or medically fragile individuals
  • Comfortable providing personal hygiene and feeding assistance
  • Professional, reliable, and patient demeanor
  • Preference for female applicants due to the needs of the student
  • Ability to commit to the full contract term (August 27th through June 11th)
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver attentive 1:1 care to a student requiring assistance throughout the school day
  • Support personal hygiene, including bathroom needs and related care
  • Assist with feeding and monitor nutritional needs as directed by care plans
  • Maintain clear communication with educational and nursing staff
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment that prioritizes student dignity and safety
  • Accurately document daily activities and communicate observations to the care team
