An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in the Operating Room environment. This contract position emphasizes surgical expertise, collaboration, and adaptability, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in high-acuity settings.

Key Schedule Details:

  • Four 10-hour shifts, 6:30am to 5pm (flexible scheduling possible)
  • Weekday on-call: 5pm to 7am, one day per week
  • Weekend on-call: 48 hours (Saturday & Sunday), one weekend per month
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license with previous experience in the Operating Room (OR)
  • Demonstrated capability with circulating duties for a wide range of surgical procedures
  • Spine case experience highly preferred for optimal patient outcomes
  • Scrubbing skills a strong plus, enhancing intraoperative collaboration
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
  • Commitment to upholding safety protocols and quality standards
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Circulate and, if capable, scrub in for various operations, maintaining sterile fields and supporting surgical teams
  • Monitor patient condition and respond rapidly to evolving clinical needs
  • Provide detailed documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies
  • Participate in on-call rotations, offering responsive care during off-hours
  • Foster a culture of respect, patient safety, and clinical excellence
