Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Pennsylvania
  • Prior experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or similar healthcare settings
  • Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with care planning, student health records, and special health needs management
  • Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care and manage day-to-day operations of the school health office
  • Assess students for illness, injury, and special health conditions; carry out appropriate interventions
  • Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to privacy standards
  • Administer medications and monitor progress as prescribed by physicians
  • Consult and educate students, families, and staff on health topics and preventive care
  • Collaborate actively with school personnel and outside healthcare providers
