Advance your nursing career with this exciting contract opportunity, where you will provide comprehensive care and expert monitoring for patients on acute Med Surg and Telemetry units. This role requires versatile Registered Nurses who are dedicated to maintaining high standards for patient safety and outcomes, while adapting to a fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule and Location:

  • Afternoon/Evening PM shift needed
  • 8 hours of paid orientation provided
  • Next orientation begins in June

    • Your Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year experience in adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
  • Demonstrated proficiency with telemetry monitoring, including identification of dysrhythmias
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills
  • Strong communication abilities and focus on patient-centered care
  • Adaptable to changing patient acuity and unit needs

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to a diverse patient population requiring medical-surgical and telemetry interventions
  • Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and promptly recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to implement individualized care plans
  • Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and thoroughly using electronic health records
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and post-discharge instructions
  • Adhere to all hospital protocols, infection control measures, and safety regulations
