Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license.
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in an emergency room setting.
  • Proficiency in emergency nursing procedures, triage, and documentation.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications (such as PALS or TNCC) are a plus.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and resourceful under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Assess and triage patients presenting to the emergency department, prioritizing care based on acuity.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and protocols.
  • Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to any changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols throughout all interactions.
