Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students for a short-term assignment in the Las Vegas area. This role is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses who enjoy making a direct impact within the school environment. The assignment covers a maternity leave from August 10, 2026, through October 12, 2026. Please note, on-site attendance is required—remote or hybrid work is not available.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • School nursing experience or pediatric experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time and adapt quickly to a new setting
  • Responsive to both routine and urgent student health needs
  • Able to complete all compliance and credentialing requirements, including district contractor application and background/fingerprint checks
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student during the school day
  • Administer medications, manage care plans, and respond to medical emergencies as needed
  • Act as a liaison between families, school staff, and healthcare providers
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, state regulations, and safety standards
  • Attend required training: afternoon of August 4 and morning of August 7
