About the Role
We're seeking a compassionate and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to support students' health and well-being in a school setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing direct nursing care, managing student health needs, and collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to students throughout the school day.
Administer medications and perform health assessments.
Develop and implement individualized student health care plans.
Respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
Monitor immunizations and maintain confidential health records.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and healthcare providers.
Educate staff and students on health and wellness topics.
Ensure compliance with state and school health regulations.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
CPR/BLS certification.
Bachelor's degree (BSN)
School nursing, pediatric, public health, or related nursing experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
