School Nurse needed in Plattsmouth, NE

Key Qualifications:
Active RN or LPN license required
Experience in pediatric or school nursing highly preferred
Comfortable with trach care, or willingness to learn
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, caring approach
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
Commitment for the full contract duration, from ASAP start through the end of the school year

Responsibilities:
Attend to all medical needs for your assigned student during the school day
Conduct routine assessments, medication administration, and emergency care if needed
Monitor and document student status, communicating with teachers and parents
Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed
Engage with school staff to provide holistic support for the student’s educational experience
Adapt efficiently to varying school hours as needed

Enjoy a steady weekday schedule, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM, for a total of approximately 30.75 hours per week. This position runs until the final day of school in May, giving you the opportunity to see your positive impact unfold throughout the school year.
