Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license

  • Knowledge of state health regulations, immunization requirements, and healthcare protocols for children

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care to students with acute or chronic health conditions
  • Administer medications and perform necessary health procedures as prescribed
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Monitor, report, and follow up on communicable diseases within the school population
  • Provide health education to students, staff, and families on a variety of topics
  • Act as a liaison between the school, families, and healthcare providers
  • Respond to medical emergencies and manage triage in a timely manner
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans for students with specialized needs
