Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana RN license (required)
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with adolescent populations preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to respond to health emergencies and provide direct student care
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver day‐to‐day nursing care, health assessments, and medication administration to high school students
  • Collaborate with school staff and families on managing chronic health conditions and care plans
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Health Plans (IHPs)
  • Respond promptly to illness, injuries, and medical emergencies during school hours
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records for assigned students
  • Educate students and staff on healthy practices, disease prevention, and emergency protocols

    • Details:

  • Contract position starting as soon as possible through the end of May (end of the school year)
  • 28.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Serve a high school student caseload in a supportive academic community
  • Enjoy highly competitive compensation ranging from $38 to $45 per hour, paid weekly
