Make a meaningful difference across multiple school communities near Minneapolis, MN by supporting student health as a contracted Licensed School Nurse. This role is full-time, covering an itinerant caseload across five schools within the district from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027. As part of a dedicated nursing team, you'll collaborate closely with educators and staff to ensure that every student receives the care and support they need throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN License, Public Health License, and a School Nurse License issued by the Board of Teaching, all current and valid
  • Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience or strong interest in school nursing or pediatric care settings
  • Ability to work independently while managing travel across multiple sites
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care and support to students across five district schools
  • Promote health education and contribute to a positive school environment
  • Administer medications, health screenings, and respond to urgent health situations
  • Coordinate care with teachers, administrators, families, and other health professionals
  • Maintain accurate health records compliant with state and district regulations
  • Support preventive health programs and facilitate individualized care plans as needed
