School Registered Nurse (RN) in Madras, OR

Make a meaningful difference in student health and safety as a school-based Registered Nurse supporting a district of approximately 2,700 students, ranging from PreK to age 21 (primarily K-12). In this collaborative contract role, your expertise will help ensure every student receives the care they need to thrive. You’ll split your time across eight buildings, each with their own unique community and needs.

Your leadership will be essential—plan, coordinate, and delegate medical services for students with a wide range of health needs, including feeding tubes, seizures, diabetes, and shunts. Most schools offer the support of health room assistants. You’ll write individualized healthcare plans, train and guide school staff, and serve as a key resource for families and educators.
