Multiple opportunities are available for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families during the 2026-2027 school year in Carbon and Lehigh Counties. These contract positions are full-time and in-person, with openings for both classroom nurses and itinerant roles.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
  • Demonstrated experience providing care for multiple patients in a clinical or school environment (exclusive 1:1 experience does not meet criteria)
  • Previous pediatric nursing experience is essential
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare team members
  • Adaptability to manage diverse health needs within classroom and school settings

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely and compassionate nursing care for students in a classroom or itinerant setting
  • Administer medications and treatments according to healthcare plans and physician orders
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies and acute situations within the school environment
  • Maintain accurate health records and communicate updates to parents and staff
  • Promote student health and wellness through education and collaboration
  • Participate in individualized education planning and health assessment for students with unique medical needs
