This assignment is ideal for Registered Nurses with strong Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience seeking to build their resume with new skills and diverse workplace practices in one of the South's most dynamic metropolitan areas.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Average of 70+ hours per four weeks, with some variation depending on department needs
  • Rotational coverage: one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per four-week schedule

    • Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current, valid RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-acuity CVOR procedures
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, team-oriented environments
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes
  • Accurately document procedures, medications, and assessments
  • Provide post-operative care and patient education
  • Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition and adapt to evolving operational demands
  • Support colleagues and function as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
