This travel nursing role in the Operating Room will allow you to expand your clinical expertise while collaborating with a diverse team and adapting to innovative workplace approaches. Gaining experience with a wide spectrum of surgical cases will strengthen your resume and expose you to various specialties and leadership styles in perioperative care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position with flexible scheduling options to help you balance work and leisure

    • Key Skills & Preferred Experience:

  • Active RN license with Operating Room experience
  • Previous exposure to vascular cases highly recommended
  • Experience handling Plastics Reconstructive cases, including DIEP Flaps and Microsurgery, is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Robotic procedures in Bariatric, Gynecological, General, and Colorectal surgery is advantageous
  • Skills in Orthopedics, particularly Total Joints procedures, are a plus
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork abilities

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff for optimum patient outcomes
  • Maintain and organize surgical instruments and supplies
  • Respond to emergency situations and facilitate intraoperative care adjustments as needed
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold best practices for infection control
