Within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a major regional children’s hospital, you’ll be part of a Level II Trauma team renowned for excellence in pediatric care. The 15-bed unit is operated by a collaborative group of Intensivists, RNs, desk techs, respiratory therapists, dietary specialists, and case managers. State-of-the-art technology such as CR monitoring and Meditech/Care Provider Network (CPN) enhances your clinical experience, while the teaching hospital environment encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Preferred Candidates Bring:

  • Minimum 1 year of current PICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
  • BLS and PALS certifications (required)
  • Experience with CRRT and APHON (preferred)
  • Previous work in pediatric teaching hospitals (preferred)
  • Poise working under pressure in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill pediatric patients
  • Participate in routine procedures: IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Support family-centered care and patient education
  • Effectively document in EMR systems

    $1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
