Qualifications Sought:

  • Valid RN license (ASN required, BSN preferred)
  • Prior experience as a school nurse is required
  • Strong technology skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets
  • Background in trach and g-tube care, diabetes management, health screenings, IEPs, and training non-medical staff
  • Exceptional organization, communication, and delegation abilities
  • Passion for student-centered care and willingness to serve where most needed within the district
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary nurse for 1–2 assigned schools (ages/grades assigned based on district need)
  • Provide direct and emergency care, health education, and staff training
  • Maintain thorough records; participate in IEPs, screenings, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Support student wellness, manage chronic illness, and train staff on medical procedures
