Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Telemetry or RN-Tele unit
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring skills
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team player
  • Ability to adapt readily to new environments and procedures
  • Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients, responding promptly to changes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies
  • Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing care
  • Participate actively in unit meetings, quality initiatives, and continuing education
