Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care oncology experience in a hospital setting
  • Preferred Experience:

  • Chemo and biotherapy certification
  • Step-down or high-acuity hematology experience
  • Compassion for oncology and chronic care populations
  • Adaptable, quick-learning mindset
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to complex blood cancer patients
  • Safely administer medications, blood, and electrolyte replacements
  • Assist with specialized unit procedures such as lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and thoracentesis
  • Collaborate on care plans in a primarily nurse-driven environment
  • Uphold best practices for safety, infection prevention, and quality measures
  • Engage as an active member of a supportive, team-oriented unit
