This assignment runs from December 14, 2026, through March 15, 2027, with full-time hours and the potential to extend. You’ll support two buildings: a high school (Mon-Wed, 7am-2:30pm) and an elementary school (Thurs-Fri, 8am-4pm), providing critical support to students and contributing to IEP meetings for special needs cases. Qualifications:

  • PEL (Professional Educator License) – Certified School Nurse required (Illinois)
  • Proven experience with school nursing at various grade levels
  • Reliable, compassionate, and collaborative with strong organizational skills
  • Submit PEL certification/license and resume (RNs or LPNs without PEL not eligible)
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support health offices in high school and elementary settings
  • Care for and counsel students with diverse medical needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for and assist special needs students
