Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one nursing care to a cheerful, mobile 5-year-old student with a trach and vent, ensuring safety and support in both summer and school year settings.
  • Support a preschooler during summer learning sessions, then transition to supporting a kindergartener in the academic year.
  • Coordinate with school staff and guardians to maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment.
  • Document interventions and communicate regularly with the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Safely accompany students during school transportation as needed.
  • Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Valid School Nurse Credential from the Department of Education (ESA Credential).
  • Pediatric experience, preferably with trach/vent care.
  • Commitment to fulfilling all time-sensitive credentialing requirements.
