An opportunity is available for an experienced professional to support cardiovascular operating room procedures as part of a dedicated surgical team. The focus of this role is on delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high clinical standards in a fast-paced, critical care environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR Tech)

Demonstrated experience assisting with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures

Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and intraoperative protocols

Ability to handle urgent situations calmly and effectively

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting with cardiovascular patient populations is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room for scheduled and emergency procedures

Assist surgical staff by anticipating instrument and supply needs during operations

Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols at all times

Monitor, maintain, and accurately record patient data as directed by the surgical team

Ensure all CVOR instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and in working order

Support surgical counts, specimen collection, and postoperative clean-up

Provide intraoperative support and demonstrate flexibility for a variety of procedures and patient requirements
