Step into an essential surgical environment supporting cardiovascular procedures as a CVOR Tech. This contract opportunity allows skilled professionals to play a pivotal role assisting the surgical team, ensuring smooth and safe cardiac operations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CVOR Tech or in a similar perioperative nursing role.

Familiarity with complex cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and equipment.

Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) highly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team in high-acuity settings.

Thorough knowledge of sterile technique and infection control.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

BLS and (if required) ACLS certifications up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgery, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are ready and functioning.

Assist with the setup and maintenance of a sterile field, passing instruments and supplies to surgeons as needed.

Monitor and respond quickly to the needs of the surgical team during procedures.

Support pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care based on current best practices.

Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of CVOR instrumentation.

Accurately document procedure details and inventory usage.

Uphold strict patient safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times.

$1,753 - $1,918/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
