Qualifications and Experience:

Active and unrestricted RN license

Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an ICU setting

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Ability to respond quickly and effectively in fast-paced situations

Previous experience with electronic medical records preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, medication administration, and management of ventilators or other life-support systems

Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care

Monitor, interpret, and document patient progress and vital signs, adjusting care plans as necessary

Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough patient records

Deliver emotional support and education to patients and their families

Ensure the highest standards of infection prevention and patient safety are maintained at all times
