Advance patient care and post-operative recovery in a fast-paced healthcare environment as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Your expertise will ensure optimal recovery and monitoring for patients emerging from anesthesia, making a real difference in their care journey during a contract engagement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license
  • Previous experience in PACU or comparable critical care setting strongly preferred
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vigilant assessment and continuous monitoring of patients in the immediate post-anesthesia period
  • Administer medications and treatments as determined by physicians and care protocols
  • Respond quickly to changes in patient condition, implementing appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery
  • Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
